Lauren Manning Nichols
With a lifelong love of design, I have always approached each project on a mission to find just the right balance of creativity and clarity to communicate its unique message.
I received a BFA in graphic design from the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign and later continued my studies in the Basel School of Design’s international postgraduate program in Switzerland. I worked for a graphic design studio in Chicago, a marketing communications firm in Boston, and an exhibit design group in San Francisco before returning to Chicago to continue spending my days doing what I love in a place that I love.
Continually energized by new challenges, I recently began teaching typography, photography, and 2D design at the University of Illinois at Chicago’s School of Design. Whether it’s collaborating with clients or guiding young designers, I am committed to bringing an abundance of good design sense to any table.
